Ekklesia Concert In Arad

We were very fortunate to be able to attend this inspiring concert. They had about 100 people in the choir and 40 in the orchestra. We got to go with a great group of young people from Betel Baptist. One of the young ladies, Doro, was in the choir 🙂. She did a great job!

BBQ with the Young Adults

Great weather, great friends, great food, great fun! We had an incredible time on Saturday with the youth from Bethel Baptist. We had a beautiful country setting for our BBQ. This gave our team lots of time to visit and get to know more of the young adults from Bethel. Enjoy the pictures!

THIS IS A FIRST!

We have an all girls team.  We are very excited about the team that God has put together.  We have four members who are returning and two first-timers!

The itinerary is still being fine tuned, however the plan is for us to continue to speak and sing in a number of village churches, a high school, and spending time talking with everyone we can.

Check back often to read what the team members are thinking about as they prepare to depart in May!

Trinity Romanian Missions Trip 2016

As the name indicates, this is a fundraiser for Trinity Romanian Missions Trip 2016.  The softball tournament is a great way to get a lot of people involved in the trip, especially teens and young adults, as well as raise money for the teams in country expenses.  Last year Tyler Stoltzfus organized a similar tournament for the Haiti Missions Trip.  It was an extremely fun day for the athletes and the fans!

Trinity Romanian Missions Trip 2016
For all the specific details you will need to contact Tyler Stoltzfus.   If you are in our area and want to get a team together or just come out and enjoy the action - we welcome you!

We would also appreciate your prayers for good weather.

You can try connecting to the actual Facebook event with the following link (we have been having some difficulty with it) Romania Trip Softball Tournament.

2016 Trinity Romanian Missions Trip Is On The Calendar!

Trinity Romanian Missions Trip 2016
Believe it or not, it is time to begin praying for the 2016 Trinity Romanian Missions Trip!  We will be leaving May 16 and arriving back in the U.S. on May 30.  We are planning to purchase our plane tickets in January so our team is taking shape now.  We have several on the team already and several others praying.  Please be in prayer for our upcoming trip.

Our Christian brothers and sisters in Romania are already making plans for our arrival .  There will be much more information to share in the coming months.  However, we wanted to let everyone know that we are gearing up again!

In November, or December, we are planning a fun night of information about our missions trip, music (local artists), coffee, munchies, and friends!  This would be a great time to come, learn about, and support the Romanian Missions Team.  Watch out for future posts with specific details!

Our God is Greater and Amazing Grace

We hope you enjoy these two songs.  The first song, Our God is Grater, is a wonderful example of our team singing with some of our Romanian friends.  On this song we were joined by Alina, Denisa, and Andrei.  This was our opening song on our final Sunday morning in Arad.  It was very moving.

The second song, Amazing Grace, was sung at Nuziman Church, a village just outside the city of Arad.  We always enjoy going to Nuziman!  The girls took this song on alone and did a great job.

We are so blessed to have been able to go on this wonderful trip to encourage the saints in Romania.  We were also greatly encouraged in the process.  Enjoy!

Last Supper and Last Gelato

We are now back in the United States and very glad to see familiar faces and signs.  We traveled a long way, it took a long time, and it was very well worth it!  We will post a few more videos from the trip in the next few days.

But for now, here are two pictures of two of our “lasts”.  Our last supper at Pastor John’s house (Marianna, his wife is an exceptional cook) and our last Gelato in the city park with some Romanian friends.  The hospitality of the Romanian people is very heart warming.

Angel Of Apathy and The Chick And The Egg

These two testimonies wrap up testimonies from each of our young team members.  The first: Angel of Apathy is given by Brandt Edmonston.  The second: The Chick and the Egg is a testimony by Kate McKinney.  Each of these is challenging and encouraging in it’s own way.  We pray you are blessed by each!

Judgment and Rebellion Testimonies

The two youngest members of our team are featured in this blog post!  Leah and Anna Heffington are traveling with our team for the first time this year and have done a great job sharing and singing with us.  We hope you are blessed by their testimonies.

Peles Castle

The Peles Castle is extraordinary!  It has beautiful craftsmanship everywhere you look.  You can’t get away from it.  More than that, the castle it’s self is set in a picturesque mountain niche with streams and little waterfalls.  God gave us a perfect sunny afternoon for this bit of sight seeing.

Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest

Our team was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit the Romanian Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest.  While we were waiting for our tour we walked across the street to a park that had an incredible playground.  Our copii (children) played and explored.  Then we headed into the Parliament building.  It is the second largest building (square feet) in the world.  Second only to the Pentagon building in the U.S.A.  It was beautiful and our tour guide was superb!

You can also see many other photos posted by our team by going to Instagram #adventura15.
