I spent the last six months of 2014 overseas doing missions work. After over a year back in the States the thought of being overseas again excites me to no end. It’s hard to place my finger on what I miss so much. Maybe it is seeing life, relationships, and God through a different culture. Perhaps it is the way life tends to intersect with life in a rawer, realer way and love becomes an action not a sentiment.
Then again it may be the way these strange new places and amazing believers shake up my world and send me running desperate for more of God.
I sit back and I am amazed that God has called me and paved the way for me to be part of the Romanian Missions Team this year. I am amazed and yet it is so like Him. Whatever God has specifically planned for Romania, the team, and for me I pray for grace to enter into it fully and grace to leave again.
Thank you for being a part of the Romania trip 2016!

I am so glad to be going back to Romania this year. I can’t wait to see how the Lord moves. This is my second time as part of the Trinity Romania Mission Team and I am excited to see all the people again.
I believe firmly that the Romanian church needs to know they are not alone, that they belong to a bigger body that cares for them and hasn’t forgotten them. They’ll never know that if random churches visit them and never come back to build that relationship. That is why I think it’s extremely important that we take these trips to visit and encourage our brothers and sister in Christ.
Please keep us in your prayers as we gather the team - we desire to be united and of one mind as we go to serve the people of Romania. Especially pray that God will prepare our hearts and the hearts of the people we come in contact with. We also would ask that you pray for patience with each other as we travel. Long flights and sleep deprivation can test endurance.
I can’t wait to see what God will do both through and in our team. Thank you for your prayers and support in this ministry.
Our Team is set!
We are so excited about the team that God has put together this year. We have three new team members and five returning. You can read about them on our About the 2016 Team page!
We feel very blessed to have been able to purchase our tickets already and at a very good price! Shopping early helps with that. We will be departing May 15 and returning May 30. We will be flying through Brussels and Munich landing in Budapest.
Keep an eye out for more updates. We greatly anticipate what God is going to do this year!
Join in the fun as we get together Saturday, November 14 for a good music, good friends, and good coffee!
You can relax and enjoy as well as support the upcoming Trinity Romanian Missions Trip 2016. You can learn all about the upcoming trip and catch up with old friends and make new ones! We will open up at 5:00 pm and stay open until about 10:00. Hope to see you all there! You can see the event posting on our FaceBook page.
Believe it or not, it is time to begin praying for the 2016 Trinity Romanian Missions Trip! We will be leaving May 16 and arriving back in the U.S. on May 30. We are planning to purchase our plane tickets in January so our team is taking shape now. We have several on the team already and several others praying. Please be in prayer for our upcoming trip.
Our Christian brothers and sisters in Romania are already making plans for our arrival . There will be much more information to share in the coming months. However, we wanted to let everyone know that we are gearing up again!
In November, or December, we are planning a fun night of information about our missions trip, music (local artists), coffee, munchies, and friends! This would be a great time to come, learn about, and support the Romanian Missions Team. Watch out for future posts with specific details!
We hope you enjoy these two songs. The first song, Our God is Grater, is a wonderful example of our team singing with some of our Romanian friends. On this song we were joined by Alina, Denisa, and Andrei. This was our opening song on our final Sunday morning in Arad. It was very moving.
The second song, Amazing Grace, was sung at Nuziman Church, a village just outside the city of Arad. We always enjoy going to Nuziman! The girls took this song on alone and did a great job.
We are so blessed to have been able to go on this wonderful trip to encourage the saints in Romania. We were also greatly encouraged in the process. Enjoy!
We are now back in the United States and very glad to see familiar faces and signs. We traveled a long way, it took a long time, and it was very well worth it! We will post a few more videos from the trip in the next few days.
But for now, here are two pictures of two of our “lasts”. Our last supper at Pastor John’s house (Marianna, his wife is an exceptional cook) and our last Gelato in the city park with some Romanian friends. The hospitality of the Romanian people is very heart warming.
