Mountains, Castles, And Fun

We are taking a whirlwind tour of beautiful Romania.  We visited the Bran Castle and the beautiful alpine highway!  Here are a few pictures from our day on Monday.  Hope you enjoy them.  There will more in the next few days as well as more videos of our church testimonies and singing.

These photos were taken by Amy Edmonston, Matthew Walker, and Daphne Edmonston.

Bran Castle from a distance.  The following are from inside
or around the base of the castle.

Random cake party while traveling.

More from the random cake party!

View of the Carpathian Mountains while traveling.

Our child transport (copii means children).

A little bovine traffic coming through the opposite lane
next to us on the road!

This was also taken right out the car window.
She is a stones throw from the car.

While we were still at several thousand feet up in the mountains a brilliant idea was hatched.  The specs on the hill (actually very high) are the young members of the team!  They decided to climb to the top!  It was more challenging than they imagined!

The team (specs) reached the top and had some fun!
Then they realized they had to make it back down!

The return trip was exciting.  Notice the van and the specs at the bottom of the "hill".
That is the child transport van and the older members of the team!

For perspective: this is a full size semi pulling huge tree logs.
