Here are a few pictures from our trip on the
Transfăgărășan (a wonderful winding alpine mountain road). We couldn’t go all the way to the top because the road was blocked by an isolated snow slide about 100 kilometers from the top. As you will see, we managed to have a lot of fun anyway!!!

Our hosts were gracious enough to stop and let us play. We ran down to explore the wildflowers and river in the fog. We were also fortunate to find this “bridge” to help us to cross the river.
